BEST POSTER AWARDS
The best posters presented during the conference sessions will be recognized with awards sponsored by the Analytical Chemistry Division. Posters will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Relevance to the conference topics
- Innovation in the research themes
- Effectiveness and clarity of communication
- Graphic design and layout
The award ceremony will take place on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, during the gala dinner.
AWARDS AND MEDALS OF THE ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY DIVISION
The Analytical Chemistry Division is pleased to announce the 2025 Career Award, which will be presented to a researcher who has contributed to the advancement and dissemination of Analytical Chemistry through their work and ideas.
Additionally, the 2025 Giovanni Canneri Memorial Medal will be awarded to an Italian or international researcher who has made outstanding contributions to Analytical Chemistry.
Two awards dedicated to young researchers will also be announced:
- The Young Researcher Award, given to a promising young scientist demonstrating strong interest and talent in Analytical Chemistry research
- The Graduation Thesis Award, recognizing an outstanding five-year, master's, or specialized thesis in Analytical Chemistry defended in 2024
Additionally, in 2025, two Silvio Sammartano Awards for Best Ph.D. Thesis will be awarded, funded in memory of Silvio Sammartano by the newly established "Fondazione Silvio Sammartano." These awards will recognize young Ph.D. graduates who are members of the Italian Chemical Society in 2025 and have authored a doctoral thesis in the field of Analytical Chemistry.
The presentation of the Career Award, Giovanni Canneri Memorial Medal, Young Researcher Award, Graduation Thesis Award, and Silvio Sammartano Award will take place during the Ordinary Assembly of the Analytical Chemistry Division, scheduled for Monday, September 8, 2025.
